Parental Engagement
Your students' parents are a key resource for the school as well as being 'customers'.

What they think of the school really matters; their feedback can help you to identify and prioritise improvements.
Moreover, parents who are passionate about the school can be your greatest advocates.
Parents who are engaged can:
-
better support their children, encouraging and enhancing their learning;
-
reinforce the school's vision and values;
-
spread the word and be your best, free marketing resource - essential for under-subscribed schools;
-
volunteer - in the classroom and beyond;
-
support your fundraising efforts.
Whilst Parent View is an essential tool for Ofsted, it is very limited in its questions. I can help you to go beyond that identifying the skills and knowledge that parents have and may be willing to share.
I can also help to facilitate workshops with parents to capture their ideas and harness their passion into a tangible resource for the school.
My experience includes chairing a local school's Parents' Think Tank; whilst providing valuable feedback to the school the Think Tank also led to the development of "By Parents, For Parents" - an invaluable guide for new parents outlining the exciting journey ahead for their children year by year.
Contact me and I will gladly arrange a time to meet to see what we can develop together.
